Synthetic Infatuation is partnering with Jen Babiarz to create an installation at an upcoming show in Chicago. Titled Invasion, this show explores the meaning of invasion in several different senses.

Synthetic+Jen will be putting together some wonderful textiles, screen printings, and pixelly pattern goodness, tackling difficult contemporary issues including peeping toms and border security. Be sure to check it out on Saturday, May 17th.

The busy little Synthetic elves have been working overtime this fall, and are sorry to report that the Notice gallery exhibition "Ordinary Occupant" has been delayed until after the holiday season. The workers' union cites insufficient donut supplies and substandard sprinkle deliciousness as reasons for the delay (though it is likely that production of Morning Issue One is the main culprit).

Details about the rescheduled "Ordinary Occupant" will be posted here when they become available.

Our next show is called Ordinary Occupant. The brief is up and ready for you to download. For this show your job will be to create a poster (three copies) that replicates your greatness and send it to us. You will base the imagery of your poster on the brief found on this site.
